I finally got my Drolet HT3000 on order on the 21st of November and awaited my prize. We spent weeks researching and looking within our price range for one that seems like it would work best for us. After the order we got the confirmation email and some other details and then we saw the money disappear from our bank account and we thought, 'oh boy, here we go'. After about a week I get an email saying it will be delayed until Dec 9th. Big bummer. I double checked on it today and they tell me that there is no reason that they have that it should be delayed any further, but I can check back in next week. So I wait.....
Thank goodness its a warmer winter so far.

Now I need to work on a way to get it off the truck.

I have to admit it was tempting to order a different model or brand, but we kind of had our minds made up about this one, so even though it was a disappointment, we are trying to be patient.

Anyway, I'm just complaining, but I figured at least some of you might get it a little more than the average person.

Stick it out. Worth the wait. Is everything else complete and ready to hook up? Hopefully you can slide it right in and go. Get your help lined up. If it has a similar weight as the HT2000 you will need help! Oooofda.

You'll appreciate it when it arrives and you have it all hooked up and running.

How does the damper look? Liner arrived? What about a block off?

That's what I've been hearing. I'll be excited to see for myself.

Its replacing an existing stove, so everything is pretty much ready to go. I need to do one last clean in the chimney, but other than that, it should be a plug and play deal. I got a couple of guys that said they would help, but that's about as far as I've gotten. My biggest concern is getting it off the trailer and on the ground. I may be building a ramp.

I just need to do one last clean in the chimney and we should be good to go. Its replacing an existing stove, so no new construction needed thankfully.

No, blower was separate. But it was separate on Drolet's website too.

If your looking to buy, I would say that efireplacestore seems to be legit. It is a few dollars higher than the Drolet site, but they seem to be on top of it more. All of the reviews that I have seen about the Drolet site said that they got a good deal and shipping is free, but the customer service is not very good.
To that degree, efireplacestore has a better customer service so to me it was worth a few more dollars to have them deal with the manufacturer.

I think they changed it, because IIRC, when I went to Drolet website it directed me to Myfireplaceproducts.com (which I thought was owned by Drolet), but now when I double checked it, they seem to be selling on their site. Interesting. (Or maybe its me)

You'll have to let me know how it goes.

Drolet is a solid choice...they have really taken care of people that had issues with a new furnace model some years back.

It’s strange that they include the blower on one site but not the other?
