We haven't hauled any more logs home lately, but we have started delivery to some old and new customers.
This is a load of hickory, pecan and cherry going to an established smoking customer. He gets a load about every 6 months. 1029201610_HDR.jpg We delivered 2 loads on my day off Monday, Nov 2nd. 1 went to a new customer, they were well pleased, as we were unloading it, his wife replied that we had brought way more than she had gotten from someplace else. They said they would definitely want more. Since they are burning in a fire pit, I told them to come pick up some fire pit wood for a discount. They also run a recovery house for young men. That will help them out. 1102201029_HDR.jpg 1102201239_HDR.jpg This last load went to a neighbor a few miles up the road from us. They are repeat customers as well. 1104201154_HDR.jpg

Worked one morning after I got off, finished this rack up. I'll have to get a compleleted picture. 1103201258.jpg
Time to move the splitter again. About time to cut the hunting camp a trailer load, then I hope to start on this new hickory, get it in the shed.

That shed shed is looking a little empty back there Jeff. It sounds like you definitely have one new customer that is happy.

Which on? The one beside the truck is all hickory on the right, mixed wood for us on the left. The shed behind the truck was full earlier this year, it holds 9 rows, only 4 left now..

Good afternoon all. Chaz is busy working on the trench to put a new line in to combine our two wells.
Have my Hawkeye football game recording. Will watch it later then can fast forward through the commercials.
    Have a great weekend everyone.
    Stay safe and stay healthy.

I had saved up some pallet boards, so we set up the saws and cut some kindling. 1116201123.jpg 7164.jpeg 7166.jpeg That should last awhile...

We got all the kindling in storage yesterday morning, then set up the limb cutting station and started processing some oak and hickory limbs. Those last hickory trees we cut were yard trees, so lots of limb wood. We did 2 bunches like this, plenty more to go. 1117201103_HDR.jpg Miz Carol keeps them fed to me, I use the MS180 to cut them up, maybe I can talk her into a Top handle saw...:saw:... :rofl: ...
1117201103.jpg We finished the stack above the split pieces of maple and started the next row before my nap time. 1117201200_HDR.jpg
Probably have enough to finish that row and start another row.

Quite a production and well done. Lots easier with the extra person. Will you burn the kindling like that or does it get split? Your use or for sale?
A top handle is NICE for solo cutting of skinnies. Have you ever used one?
If youve been nice maybe Santa will bring you a 194T ??? :santa: :saw:

The kindling on the truck will get used like that as well as the limb wood in the shed. We use that mostly, sometimes a customer wants some to go with a load of wood.
No sir, never used a top handle. That may be on my Santa list later. I've been informed :heidi: that some projects need to be completed on the house . before any new :saw:'s find a new home.

We've gotten 4 loads of the hickory sorted and the limbs processed. Started on the 5th row. 1121201241a_HDR.jpg We have this pile of rounds to split and stack on the right side of the shed
1121201241.jpg Had this pile of cutoffs, 1121201241a.jpg Got the big pieces split and all loaded, made a big box full, tractor woukd barely lift it. 1202201042.jpg
Made a double bin with plastic pallets 1202201114_HDR.jpg
It's almost half full. We will put metal roofing on it and let it bake in the wind and sun 1202201115a_HDR.jpg Still have this load to sort, it does have 1 oak tree mixed in. 1121201245.jpg
This is the big hickory logs we have to process so far, a few more will be added from the above load 1121201244_HDR.jpg

Curious, how many wood racks do you have on the property and how many cord do you think you could store if they all were filled? Awesome that you and your wife work at the processing together:thumbs:

Thanks, brother. Lately, my hunny has done most of the stacking, especially in the smaller sheds.
