Wow... It's all I can say.. Sorry to make you re-live that moment. But pictures show the story. Thanks for sharing.
That was part of a set from my granny thats been handed down ( I hate to say). I can remember it as a kid growing up in her house. We just ran out of room in the den for it with new furniture. Sooooooooo I offered it back to my mom and she didnt want it back. So I ask her if ok to do what I did and she said sure. Still have the matching china cabinet inside though. Still want to do shop lights right over the center of it like the others on sides.
I like the one from my old school hallway bench. I sat on it in HS. They tore down the old school to build new. My dad grabbed the benches. I built this bench so I could stand straight up without having to bend at my back. Trying to show the top here.
My ported Dave Nieger 357xp and muffler modded 361. Weight as used with b+c and mix and oil. Done at a GTG so scale like this might be off some.
And sitting on a nice pile of Honey Locust!!! Well borer eaten too!!! I like to think them little buggers are helping to dry it out...
I get a kick of the new chainsaw phase folks are going through these past couple of years. Putting stickers on their saws of who worked on them etc . So not to be left out I come out with mine last year. There now I fit right in with the new guys.
How do you like that 5020? I have really been debating buying one after using my buddies. His is a really nice saw....
