Quick 15 min trailer load split 30 mins before sunset. Love my bi-directional splitter with 4 way attachment. PXL_20201129_213605528.jpg

Nice, can you get a better picture of the splitter?

Thanks! It's just a Harbor Freight splitter. Similar to this setup.

I did get the Maple rounds that I brought off the hill yesterday split and stacked, I also had some splits from the trail clearing I did from a Red Maple that had seen its best day stacked.

I just did some hand filing on some chains on the 311,390 and the 660, hopefully tomorrow I'm into that old Maple branch that is down. I'm sure some of it will be rotten but hopefully there's enough good wood in it that I can add it to the stack in the above picture.

I haven't started the 660 since summer so I'll try and wake the neighborhood up tomorrow morning before I hit the hills. I thought about cutting today but we had a good rain overnight and this morning so the trails were soaked and muddy. I doubt a day will make a big difference with the trails getting better but tomorrow should be a drier day so at least the equipment won't get wet.

Are you getting the cold shot that some of the southern states are?

HA! It has been such a mild season for us so far. I think just about one foot of snow and that's it.

We got a blast (small shot) of snow once that totaled 8"-9"; 2" this past Sat/Sun; and then a few times of 4" and less shots. Add to this the mild temps and it hasn't been much ammounting to extra snow to send your way at all!

I'm sure you don't mind. :handshake:

This is yesterday for me and it's snowing another 6 inches until tomorrow. Was looking down at green grass this past image-20201201_121212.jpg Sunday.

I think our high yesterday was maybe 43° and windy. Low tonight is upper 20's...
Even Brandon Scott said it had gotten cool down in central Fla.

The first eight pictures are from the downed Maple branch and the last two are from a different Maple just west of the first area I worked.

Thanks, hopefully Mother Nature does her job and loosens them up.

I hauled all the Maple from up top down the hill and stacked it, that finished that stack. Hopefully mother nature allows me to c/s/s another two face before we get hit with a snowstorm.

I usually c/s/s between 10 & 12 face cord in the fall but with all the trail clearing I did around the house property, I've only put up six face cord. With the wood we're burning this year, we're four years ahead so the wood inventory is still good.

Nice. Maybe next year, you will have more time for c/s/s and won't have to clear as much trail.
