    It's pretty simple really. Just make sure the phone is compatible with your service. If you buy the phone outside of your cell company, you can simply go in to the local store and add a line and get a SIM card. Done. Look on ebay or Amazon. You'll find much better deals typically. But best buy might have a deal. I think best buy can even get your phone hooked up

    Yes. Best Buy hooked up our last two phones we bought. We bought the XRs for ourselves and passed the 8s to our two older kids. Unfortunately they are an hour away. Oh well. Looks like all snow to melt quickly and stay gone with warmer temperatures until December 3rd & 4th. Maybe a road trip would be nice. Get my brother-in-law to come over and be with mother-in-law and take wife and kids for lunch and a quick shop. We’ll see. Thanks for input.

    I see that. Thinking on it, and since this morning my daughter got into trouble for not doing what Dad told her to do. Very clearly. Again. This is a repeated thing. Now she will wait until Christmas for her phone that she thought she might get because of Black Friday sales. And I asked her if she wanted to ask any more questions or argue and we could wait until her Birthday at the end of January! She didn’t say anything.?:mad::rolleyes:o_O

    and just because they got it doesn’t mean can’t loose it.. til they remember... mine had to earn it with honor roll. I can’t I am not smart enough boo hoo we worked on it straight A since and now she thinks she brilliant :eek:

    All I had ever had is a flip/dumb phone. I love it . It does all I need and you can work doing anything with it in your front pocket.

    They all do very well in school. If they didn’t they wouldn’t get the phones here either. But they have to mind their parents, both of them, or there are consequences.

    I say no iPhone at all. Get inexpensive Android phones. You can get a nice one for 150, even less. Now you can go stupid priced Android's too, but the nice thing with Android is that you can be cheap, and not miss out on anything really important.
