And I woke up about midnight sweating my azz off. Dozed on and off since then with my right shoulder still massively sore and no more movement than I had last night. Got chills and a temperature too.

Okay, this is stupid, who gives a shot (specifically the Shingles), WHEN THESE SYMPTOMS OF REACTION ARE EXPERIENCED BY MORE THAN 50% OF PEOPLE (according to the literature) , during these times?

Thanks JT. My fever finally got down to 100.8. Was at 102.4 even using ibuprofen. Feeling somewhat better and I'm not bundled up like an Eskimo right now. I can raise my right arm to a 90* angle at the shoulder too, so some real progress is being made.

that is a bad reaction, if not something else. I got mine with only a bit of tenderness in the local area. My wife got shingles and it was hell on earth. Just horrid. She had bad pain for months after the shingles were gone. She got the shot after that. Little to no reaction. I'm living like a cave dweller now waiting for the covid shot to become available. Quality of life has gone down significantly. I've been tested three times so far, all negative. I'm thinking there will be some distribution in a couple of weeks. First round will go to providers. Stay well, keep warm.

For some people it isn't painful, for some people the anti viral takes it down in both duration and painfulness. Wife had the shingles last spring.

Just realized I am having an allergic reaction to the Pneumonia vaccine (right shoulder), welts, rash etc. But, all in all, getting better.

    No, that isn't bruising.

Yeah, I've known people to get shingles, at that looked horrible to go thru - the only reason I agreed to the vaccination.

I agree. From what I've been told by people who had it, it can go on for quite a while and does suck......I put up with a few days of soreness back in Sept. over that.
