This just passed my house and my truck is such that I could not boogie and catch up to see exactly what it was, dang it. It was two utility trailers hooked together somehow. The trailers were about like the 5x10 I bought used which Tractor Supply sells. Pipe top, wooden floor, ramp. I don't know if they were identical size but close, such as two 5x10 trailers. The back one's tongue was hooked to the front one's rear somehow and the front one did not have its ramp. I've never seen this, anyone have any idea? Why would you do this other than just to carry more load, lol. I wonder if it's even legal. Or if it would then be considered a home-made trailer. Or... is it one trailer or two? I wish I could have gone to see it and maybe snap a picture.

Pretty easy to add this to the lead trailer.

It's legal in our province and you often see guys towing 30'+ RV's with their 20' boat and trailer behind.

    Just a google search image.

I’m a vegan, part Native American, know how to fish and hunt as well as any IF NECESSARY and not to waste and I’m offended by your sig. I request that you remove it immediately and I’m asking for any moderator to check in. How about it Scotty Overkill?

I've pulled a few sets of doubles. Usually a camper with a boat behind it. Pull fine, hard to back up.

brenndatomu, no dog in this fight but kinda how I felt too.

I guess the last trailer should have a lighter load than the middle, or else the middle would have a light tongue?

That first trailer is a 5th wheel. That’s legal in most, if not all states. They pull considerably better than 2 bumper-pulls. Wouldn’t want to have much weight on the rear trailer

I think it's legal here as long as the first trailer is a fifth wheel, but ive never seen anyone try it here.

Ive towed many miles and i don't think id wanna try pulling that in Pa's mountains

Sorry Maina, but that’s been in XXL ‘s signature for quite some time. I can’t speak for all Moderating or Administrative, but I for one don’t think it should be taken seriously or as offensive.
    Just my .02¢

I'm not sure exactly what the law says, but I know I see doubles being pulled in Ohio from time to time...I think semi's might be confined to interstate routes though...but I know I've seen smaller trailers being pulled double too...even bumper pull...I see those portable highway sign/solar traffic light trailers double all the time.

It’s bad enough sometimes even finding diesel fuel. I’d hate getting in and out of a smaller gas station, too.
