It happened once before about a yr ago. That time it took about a 1/2 hr to get back to normal. Not so much this time.

Some of the meds are known for causing BP low readings but the docs don't always say anything. If it is something that builds up in the blood stream (low dosage meds) you have now a way of pointing a finger at possible culprits. Keep asking questions.

While some of your friends might think you're weird, here at FHC you've got a lot of like minded individuals. We may not all see eye to eye, but rest assured if you're looking for affirmation on your plan/ scheme/ thoughts, there's a few here that will give you the feedback you either want/need or might want to hear.

Plus we're at least good for a few laughs along the way.

Thanks. I don’t want to reveal too much on a public forum but I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s thought of ways to make themselves financially stable down the road when it’s time to bail. There’s a divorced guy I know making $80k a year and living in his car down by the river because he got a really raw deal. In the eyes of the state that’s fair. I really don’t want to be that guy.

If you're going to fill your pants, you better be able to depend on them.

Had that happen when they first put me on BP meds. I felt like I couldn’t even lift my head. It took about three or four days before I felt more normal. Be careful cause you don’t want to blackout and fall.

Had to make a tough decision. I've hunted deer for over 60 years and love it. But it just got to be too much this year. We, including the surgeon thought I could handle it by now but one shot with the rifle and it puts me in too much pain. Its simply not worth it, but no more hunting for me this year.

Also I had planned on building some comfortable blinds this past summer but that too had to be set aside. Maybe next summer... If lumber prices don't come down, I do have a couple small buildings I could tear down so that could be an option.

For those who don't know, in early July I had neck surgery. There was way too much pain and they found the bones were rubbing right against the spinal cord. Two discs were replaced and then fusion. Below that one section had to be completely removed. That meant a titanium spacer had to be placed between the bones then a titanium plate was screwed into bones above and below. On top of that I guess my body is now full of arthritis which certainly doesn't help.

I have gained movement with the neck and am in less pain now plus I now rarely get those sharp pains while riving down our not so smooth county roads. So things are better. Most mornings are like this morning in that I start with some heat on the neck and I can live with that. Also I now rarely wear that cussed neck brace, which I hate, but sometimes it can help.

I have not been able to cut wood for 2-3 years now but doctor says next spring I can try it. I'm not really sure I can hold out that long...

Backwoods Savage Didn't you have a wood pile doing double duty as a deer blind? You might be able to use your firewood for ground blinds for next year:yes::handshake:

Beautiful day here....sunny and supposed to be mid 60's. Going to finish up work a little early today and take my daughter deer hunting this evening.

Dropped the bathroom mirror frames off at the glass store today....they are backed up so it may be a week or two before I get them back.

Not sure what's going on this weekend yet, but it will most likely be deer butchering and making some form of sawdust.
