I never claimed to be a good tenant! :D Honestly if you saw what he burns you'd :picard:
He cut up and split a beech the fell from Isaias to burn now. Last year he burnt 8 month old red oak! You would not live in his house if you saw the stove he uses. Always smoke coming out of his chimney.

Ive bucked some big oak with mine as well. 20" bar buried and it handled it well. I have a 361 and 460 for bigger wood.

Yup! Mine too. Light and powerful. I’ve got a 460 with a 20” and an 046 with a 24. The 261 gets the nod now, ‘cause I’m easin’ up on 65. I might be old, but I’m damm good lookin’.

I’ve never past an elm. I just cut and split a punky one last week. The tough ones I’d “chainsaw split “.

It’s an MS 192 TC with a 14 inch bar. Good little saw it has a prominent place in my arsenal. The city I am retired from had 12 of these little tigers, 2 in every bucket truck. So I have a ton of experience as to where one keeps their left hand when on the go juice!

I hear y’a on that brother. It is hard for me to explain a 261. Stihl has done great job on the balance, torque, power, chain speed whatever term I can use, it’s just a good fit in my hands when in the woods. Years ago I ran two big Poulans, they were good saws as well but they just didn’t have the same feel as a 261 can’t explain it,,,

I have a little Husky top handle which was problematic so i replaced it with an MS194T top handle. New model this year basically an updated version of the 193. Dont use it that often but a great saw to have for sure. Looking for a rear handled version of the same saws either new or slightly used.
