So 12 minute burn time becomes 3 minute burn time ? Sounds good to me.

I stopped filling the bird feeder in May because there's just too much food around for the birds in the Summer. Why feast on sunflower seeds when there's plenty of weed seeds around ?! Plus the chipmunks kept planting the sunflower seeds in my garden pots.
I started filling the feeder(s) again after a big flock of southbound blackbirds and grackles went thru. It didn't take many minutes for the chickadees and blue jays to notice.

I have bought those for a few years now and like them also.

I hung out one of those "grease cakes" (suet cakes) here but only have seen one bird on it. At the lake, I would go through one of those cakes in less than a week. Here, one bird has it all to itself!

That's here now. Not fun. Up to 50 mph winds tomorrow.

I was outside cutting the too long splits down, stacking, doing a little bit wood shed work, using the tractor to do some leaf sweeping of leaves, and other random jobs.

It was windy, pretty cold, especially when it started raining too.

At my house, I am officially done with all the rounds, and anything other than shorts and uglies for campfire use.

So I'm officially on hoarding duty.

Wisconsin has a large crop of those too. If they are tart cherries that is. If they are sweet cherries, then they are usually from california, oregon and washington state.

Crazy here too, totally dark for an hour on and off from snow squall whiteouts all day. Neither of us knew snow was coming. High winds, not worth tracking, it's always high wind.

Yep, we've got that scheduled too, but it's wicked out now. Sounds like a freight train or there right now.
