    Good Morning all! We’ve had 3” of rain and it’s still pouring rain. I hope there is no wind with this system. Summertime temps and thunderstorms in November.

    Good morning everyone! No rain after all, it all went south. I think we get some tomorrow.
    Had a nice visit with fishingpol, I came home with some of his homemade maple syrup, crabapple jelly, and a cute little rusty sawbuck. I'm sure we'll see a pic once he gets the tin behind the stove. He did a beautiful stove install.

    Creek’s flooded and shut down some roads. Fallen trees shut down some roads.I saw some apartment buildings and businesses that were flooded, but my house and wood is ok.

    It was another great visit from Midwinter. The corrugated tin will work great. It will probably be a weekend project to install it and get the metal working tools out. I should have pics this weekend.

    Good morning, everyone.

    Mid-40's, drizzly, and raw. I had readied the wood stove, earlier this week. I finally lit it off this morning. The heat feels good in coolish house.

    Roof guy came yesterday. He scraped and caulked around the suspected leak area. While up on the roof, he did the same to the other exhaust vent and septic vent pipes. The bill was to place a sign at the bottom of the driveway, by the street. That was a surprise! We do know someone that works in the roofing office, but in no way expected a "friends & family" type of discount.

    Septic guy is scheduled for this morning. I'm sure he'll leave us a bill.
