Morning All. Just above freezing this morning. I think our gorgeous weather is over. Yesterday afternoon I got out and finished planting bulbs. No wind but my hands were still cold. campinspecter got the winter tires on the car as we are going down island this week. Headed over to Mom's today to do some bookkeeping. Mom is going to learn to use a software program for bookkeeping. I think she will catch on quick.

    Everyone have a great day.

Great to hear from ya, brother. I knew you have been tied up with the well. Hope you have the water going again.
Thanks, brother, I did have a great time this weekend. I was off work, made it even better.

You've got a nice supply of firewood up there, and I love the fire pit pictures!

We lucked out. There was a spruce that blew down sometime last year. It snapped about 10 feet up, still attached, off the ground. Tne many branches were cut and piled up. The trunk was cut into lengths. The branches were broken down and fed into the fire, whenever someone wanted to.

Also found dead oak, horizontal. It was still solid and splitable. We had plenty for firewood. Left some for the next person's fire.

Split wood is available for the inside wood stove. A no-no to burn in the firepit.

    Not yet..

Almost.. Have the ditch done, today I spent some quality time with the hammer drill and sledgehammer.

Have sand on bottom, 2 electric runs laid down. (one for the well pump, and one to run some power to the trailer 10/2 and 10/3 respectively)

I just need to find the water line on the other end.. preferably without destroying it.
    :emb:

Once I'm tied in.. I'll run the remainder of the pipe in the ditch as well, then more sand and finally backfill.

Yeah, dry wells don't do ya much good.

We're still running through a garden hose for now.. but I'm hopefully closing in on the end.

Glad you had a great time.. the tractor pull looked like a great way to spend the day.

    Good morning, folks.

    Yard cleanup continues!

Scheduling annual septic pumpout, before snow flies. The snow we had a couple of weeks ago, doesn't count.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning everyone! Still nice here. I've been spending my mornings splitting oak that I collected about a year ago. Then when it gets too warm, yard cleanup and general odd jobs. I've been very successful at being too busy for housecleaning. The driveway is getting full of wood again. The dump has been pretty good, I usually come home with a few rounds.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Nothing going on down here except another work day and expecting rain for the next couple days from TS ETA. My work schedule got turned upside down about 10 last night. My boss texted, wanted to know if I could work Fri-Mon 7PM-7AM, part of my days off.
Co-worker in my dept fell about 30' cutting a limb over his house. Broke both legs, elbow and possibly fractured his back. He will be out for awhile...
Be encouraging, share a smile, lend a hand.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME
