I take it you dont like the smell of red oak? Dont mind it although im not fond of pin oak...smells like manure!
Yep, some of them are. I'll probably get some saw exercise of a few of them. We didn't cut that last load. An older gentlemean was cutting it up, had a heart attack and died there at the church. Another member got the pieces he could handle and we were asked to get the rest cleaned up. The church didn't want his daughter to have to see it.
Snagged a small sassafras and a few chunks of Willow oak. Sassafras is a rare find for me. This little guy got flattened by a monster pine. Tight rings, but pretty light wood. Hickory haulin tomorrow.
Yes sir, it sure was. He was another guy that sold firewood in our county. He had just turned 81 a couple weeks prior. I knew him, actually helped him on a tree one time. But his family said he left this world where and doing what he loved, cutting wood and at church. If only we could all be so lucky.
with rust like that here in england, that truck would be off the road,it would not pass road worthy test.
I’d move. This truck looks like a Cadillac, Bentley in your case; compared to a lot of vehicles on the road here.
