Good Morning, Brothers & Sisters Thread

Open the door to go out for our walk and the skies had opened up and rain was pouring down. Breakfast first and see if it clears up. Looks like snow on the hills behind us.

 

Truer words have never been spoken...

 

We worked for 3 1/2 hrs Thursday morning. Going back this morning to finish some other spots they want done.

 

Good Morning all,
I see T.Jeff Veal is on here early this morning. I was hoping to only haul wood today, but remembered another tree sized limb we have to clean up. It broke out of a Red Oak and pancaked a car. The car is now at it’s new home at the junkyard.

Good morning everyone! Going to be another beautiful day, no fire this morning. I've got a couple of dump runs to make, bulbs to plant, and more cutting back in the garden. Maybe a little splitting before it gets too warm (!).

Good morning all!

 

Morning all. Not raining this morning and just above freezing. I think we are in for sunshine today. After our walk, breakfast and grocery shopping, it will be out to the garden to plant bulbs and do a little digging. Had a great visit with Mom yesterday. She is doing so well with the new hip. Brought back holly for holiday deco. If we get a freeze for a couple of days before Christmas, the crows strip the holly tree of all its berries.

Good afternoon all. Beautiful sunshine out there.
Chaz built a fire outside last night. He wanted to see exactly how wet the wood was that he brought down to the porch about 2 weeks ago. It did sizzle a bit. Kinda surprised as this is ash that was cut, split and stacked a little over a year ago. He left the rest sitting behind the house to let it enjoy the sun and wind for another week or two. We do have a single row on the porch that is about 5' high and about 6' long to start with that is dry. So we will be ok.
