Prolly already put pics of the Wing up but... maybe not? They're an incredible ride. Sounds like you had a good day.

We rode for a time. Had an open 4 days available years ago so we went up and around Canada on a 900 mile trip. Had a ball, rode the ferry back across from Yarmouth NS to Bar Harbor. Always thought I'd like to try a Harley (love the sound... who doesn't) but I think I'll stick to our Jeep instead and maybe I can even keep it upright...

Today is the last day before I start on the rest of my company insisted career path. I think its 33 weeks of training give or take. Most all of the classroom training is day work but for the next 2 years i'll be swing shifting it.

Is the light at the end of the tunnel a good thing? Sounds like a big commitment the company is having you make.

This is a picture with the cargo trailer. I also have a Kompact kamper tent trailer to tow also.

What a cool idea! Where did you find the idea or did you do this yourself?

What's it like pulling weight behind? I'll bet the tongue balance must be critical. I see you've got the wind deflectors too. Our first one didn't have them (I'd never seen them) and I baked on hot days sittin on the engine. Had those shields on the second one and wow, totally cool on hot days, flip em the other way and stay warm on cool nights...

Nice set-up... gonna try a Harley?

Had Harleys, wife hated them. Too much noise and vibration for her. Weight dist. is really important in the trailers. The camper weight is about 350. In the years ahead I see a trike in our future.

Went go karting yesterday and tagged the wall pretty hard and my ribs are bruised at best...most likely cracked.

@Stinny Its the only way I can put in for crew leader. Its a good learning experience also. You learn more about how stuff works not just how to build it.
@Gasifier its an 8 hour base but you can work over a lot. It varies as far as days also. You can work seven off four etc... Its not the worst thing in the world. The hardest part will be the time missed with my boys on certain shifts.

Tried a Spider, too much like riding a snow mobile as opposed to a motorcycle. Prefer the extra wheels behind me.

If I ever decided to own a motorcycle I would think I would buy a Honda Goldwing Trike.

So when you say swing shift are you talking midnights? 8 hours from 12-8 am? Or evening shift?

Yup, test drove a new Harley Tri-glide yesterday. Not bad, but GW is the way to go. Trying to decide whether to trike mine or go look for one. Retiring next year, so don't want to get stupid re:$$$$$$$$$.
