I never sell my wood as seasoned or dry. I just list when it was split. The customer can figure it out from there. Also I always carry a moisture meter on delivery.
Agreed. The wood I'm dealing with now was on the 8 year plan. Figured I didn't need the MM but "inquiring minds need to know".
Absolutely. Among other uses too. It's a very valuable tool. A MM is also pretty much the only way to get the actual moisture content of wood.
Considering the amount of time and effort I put into preparing a cord of stove-ready, fully seasoned wood, I'd have to sell it for twice the going rate and wouldn't get any buyers.
