Oh my...he's celebrating and he has no clue how close he was to being pinned or completely flattened. He never learned the notch and hinge. Just creates a back cut and prays. If he would watch one youtube video on falling a tree, that wouldn't have happened. Probably not good to start with widow makers either.

That guy reminds me of someone I know its not him but looks and acts like him. I know a guy that destroyed the bar on his saw trying to do something like that. He thought he could just cut straight through the tree and it would fall over the tree actually rocked a little and then settled back on his bar destroyed the chain and the bar.

I'm beside myself trying to think of something rational to say about that... The intelligence defies description o_O
5 seconds into his first cut, he slips and almost falls into his saw. Don't know how much damage it would have done though, I saw no chips, only fine dust. Kinda like being pecked to death by a duck.

Its bad enough cutting a heavy leaner when you don't know what you're doing - but look where he started making his 2nd cut - not on the even bigger leaner (uprooted & hanging in that middle tree) on the right, but the MIDDLE one that was supporting everything!

I was taught many years ago to NEVER even walk under something like that, much less stand underneath & try to make any cuts.....

I think most people would be totally spooked, and he's laughing. Something tells me he will not lead a full and healthy life.

Somehow I think the quote from Einstein is more than appropriate.

The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.
