    Hey all,

Husqvarna Canada has some nice deals on pro saws. I currently have the 550xp and have been eyeing the 562xp or the 572xp even.
For now let’s focus on 562xo vs 550xp

It’s a firewood saw. I don’t really need more power but it’d be nice.

There is a measurable power difference, yes.

    Owning a 550 I'd go to a 572 if I was you, a 10cc jump wouldn't be enough for a 2 saw plan in my opinion.

Yep, 50cc--70cc is the perfect 2 saw plan.

So the Jury is out...save a few $$ and get the 572xp

For what it’s worth it’s on sale for $760 ($1020 Canadian).

when I mentioned this plan to my wife in the morning was angry. And now she’s more open to the idea!

I'm getting on that plan right now. I think it will be a nice jump to go from the 14" Makita 36v to the Stihl 028 WB AV 47cc with an 18" bar. Of course, this all depends on if and when I get my parts. The guy said I'd have it by the end of the week.......which came and went and no parts delivered..........

I had a one saw plan, then a two saw plan, then a three saw plan. A fourth has since been ordered. It’s like Goldilocks, there is always a perfect size.

Yes, there is a noticeable difference between 50 & 60, but def. go for the 572. 50/70 is perfect 2-saw. 60 is perfect 1-saw

I agree with the above. If you have 50, go 70 next. If you have 50 & 70, well then you need to fill in the gap w a 60. :D And then for the big stuff, go right to 90..

    Ok it’s decided. 572xp.

The sale is on until the end of the year I think. So there’s time to get the wife on board.

I got a 76cc from our honorable Eric VW that’s a good one saw plan but 50 cc Stihl works also

The one saw plan sounds great until you get it pinched in a log and you’re a half mile in the woods, or you hit a rock and have no extra chains with you

FIL said something similar to me after I grabbed his old Pioneer too many times, I guess, because I found myself and my 353 in a bind.

Access to a second saw is key.

I went 60cc and 79cc. Then 50cc then 35cc then 54cc then then 61cc then 110cc. Think theres room in there for a 395 since parts for the 111s are harder to find then honest politicians. Leave all the saw forums now or you'll just keep adding saws forever.
