Maybe the rain will force you to stop a sit a while. Maybe sit on he porch. I used to do that during the storms. Porch is screened in and covered so I could sit and stay dry and just watch it pour.
Good views is from all our hard work last weekend, which was distrupted by this poop-lar. Clearing the underbrush has opened up more stacking zones and a place to put the hammock. Im glad to be done this big mess. It was time consuming due to the canopy needing to be removed. Usually it gets left, as Zap would say for the critters, which is great!
Good childhood memories growing up doing that. Once the lightening starts, I go in due to the huge oak coming up from the deck. We have an aluminum awning, so heavy rain gets LOUD.
Looks like a big cold front moving in so should be a lot nicer for those who cut in the summer. They are saying perhaps 20 degrees cooler than normal. That will feel great!
Thanks. Didnt like that mess right out back. The thing would have kept taunting me until it was done. The 372 ate through the 30 ft portion within 30 min. Once i got the splitter on it to quarter it, Dawn loaded the wagon and stacked it. We had a good quick system. The entire amount will be kept on the SS rack to pull from probably over 2 years.
