676 miles a year seems a bit low.

Absolutely. The pictures of the interior certainly shows 10,000 miles, its pristine. But I'll remain skeptical until I can climb all over it and see for myself.

Mind if I ask what they are asking for it?

Take another look at that number, more like 700.

Doesn't seem like a bad price if the mileage is true!

Not at all! Even if they wont budge off their asking price, I will likely buy it if it is what it is claimed to be. Its a 5.4, so not a powerhouse, but it will push snow, and aside from firewood, when I have it fully loaded for work it would be less than 1500lbs max.

Originally, I just skimmed over the odometer reading. Then, after reading all the replies about how low it clocked, I thought I had better check again; thats when I saw the decimal point in the reading! :bug: :hair:

I guess I'll tell you right now.....congrats on the new truck! :handshake:

Yup, my 5.4 does a good job, unless called on to tow a heavy trailer at highway speeds...which I rarely do.
Mine is a 2003, so last year for the 2 valve head (no cam phasers!) so I feel like I have the most reliable version of the 2 valve engine.
Make sure it doesn't have "timing chain rattle" on startup...anything else to watch for Warner ?
Probably not too much (yet) with only 10k miles...

I was there this morning before they opened, but it was already gone.:headbang: I would have done the same yesterday, but I had a meeting in CT.

Not that it matters now but I would be willing to bet the undercarriage of that truck was pretty crusty.

That was a concern I had as well, and why I went this morning instead of in the rain yesterday late afternoon when I got back in town.

Took an early morning skip to the cottage (still dark) and put down a layer of firewood in the bed of the truck. I don't think it'll be enough weight (ballast) for when the snow plow is on, but we'll see. I put some 4" thick splits of all hardwood one layer deep on the entire floor of the bed. Looks like a jig saw puzzle!
