That 064 build is stihl on deck for me.
I need to find covers and fasteners
Seeing yours is a nice push, GLS!

Like the 056 too! Enjoyed an 075 rescue this summer, a very close big brother of the 056.

I am looking forward to doing my own project, especially this one!

May be a good excuse to add some heat in the cellar and definitely better lighting.

20201021_214841.jpg Here's something you don't see everyday. I got this sweet little top handle several years ago for a great price. It is a surprisingly light and powerful for 39 cc. and always runs super smoothly.

Bud , I have done that as well on older 026’s . But, being as this was my saw , I wanted to see if this “fix” would work . And ,so far it is leak free .

You don't think I should just keep it all nice and shiny in the box?

Got a couple guns that are still new in the box, but mostly I buy stuff with the intention of using it. Maybe you should have bought two, one to use now, and one to hope is worth more in several years. I kinda wish I was into saws and had a crystal ball when the 346 was still being made.
Aw,.... who am I kidding, GO GET IT DIRTY

Thanks. Bought it back in August from a member here. He bought it from a guy that never used it to cut wood, so it was essentially new. Had maybe 10 tank fulls of gas through it when i got it. Great compliment to my 261 & 460.
