Wait, what...?? You got a deer in the freezer?

Well, I guess that beats going into the woods to hunt for it but sure raises a few questions like what was the deer doing in your freezer in the first place??

9 times out of 10 it is easier if you kill them first.

Well, my travel hiatus has come to an end, but in a good way.

One quick work trip out east this week.

Week after next quick trip North with the wife for a night.

Mid December got a free trip to Breckenridge for 4 days.....looking forward to that.

I haven't been anywhere since March....and kinda liked it.

About got one in the freezer tonight too...would have had to peel 'er off my front bumper first though! She's lucky that the speed limit is only 45 there...at 55 she'd been toast. :startled:

I don't clean the cookies but occasionally delete some; not all. If you delete all then you have to put in all your passwords again which just wastes time. But then, I've also turned in to one of the biggest time wasters anyway...

How about reviewing that trailer once more, please? You've had it for 2 years now? Pros and cons. Seems to be holding up well.

I bought the heaviest duty one they make. If I remember right, they rated it at 1800 lb. capacity. It is a very good trailer. No problems with it so far. I, and my wife, work it regularly. I with firewood, stones, and lumber chores, and her with barn and horse chores. I like the removable tailgate. (We use it often with it on and off.) The walking tandem axle is great for all kinds of terrain. I highly recommend it. And at over $1,000, it should be a great trailer! LOL

Before you head to Breckenridge, check the Covid restrictions for Summit County. If you plan on hitting the slopes, check to see if you have to make reservations. They're all unsure how to make this work with the current situation, and the Gov. talking about furthering the restrictions.

Thanks. If it looks like a PITA we'll just not go and be out nothing. Just looking for a few days away and relaxing...doubt we'll even ski.

Happy belated birthdays and anniversaries hoarders. I hope you all had enjoyable days with your family and loved ones.

I'm too busy here for my own good. The rest of the kitchen ceiling is up and the first coat of mud is done. Finished painting our daughters room, painted siding around the kitchen window this past weekend.

I cut and set the roof flashing for the stove today after work. The weather is unpredictable all week, so I got it done and sealed in place. There is a slight chance of rain tonight. This was really bothering me, but the pressure is off now.

The top of the flashing is the same height as the peak of the roof. The Class A will be 30" above that, plus cap. Hopefully, there will be no draft issues. I can easily add an OAK if needed.

I'm going in a lot of directions, but progress is being made before the real cold sets in.
