Ran my 028 yesterday. First time in a while. Started no problem but once warmed up it would stall after several seconds sitting at idle. Which screw do i turn and which way?

I would start by turning the "L" screw counter clockwise a 1/4 "richer" turn and see if that does it. Madsens has some great tuning info on their website. It's difficult to give information without hearing it.

Nope. It was just coincidence i used it yesterday. 4-5th time since April. I have 6-7 active saws!
Here's the thread about why i bought it.

if it was running fine last time you ran it, something changed since then.

I find some carbs are really forgiving on tune and others need 1/32 turn accuracy to run right.

I think it’s reasonable to check that the L is where OEM says it should be, in case it walked. Turn it clockwise until closed, keeping track of how many full turns to get there. I.E., 3/4 turn, 1 1/2 turns etc. (don’t wrench it hard, just seat it )
Then turn it CCW to the OEM recommended. Pic below shows 1 turn ccw.
Try that. If no joy, I’m with Fifelaker , there are some decent videos on how to tune.

Something changed if it ran well in April and the weather hasn’t changed that much since then and your still cutting at the same elevation. If tuning doesn’t work, you’ll need to look inside
