Use Bailey's on a regular basis, love the woodland pro chains and synthetic mix. Good company but not sure what shipping would be like to Canada. Could build a standard sawbuck and use a strap to hold the split. May not be fast, but should be safe.
In the good old days I've held the logs over the deck of my 5 ton truck and the boys just bucked and stacked the rounds right in the box!
I built a 2x4 sawbuck, but for short pieces less than 4’ I prefer to use the jaw horse. It holds even the odd shaped pieces nice and firm at a comfortable cutting height. Rockwell JawHorse 34 in. Woodwidow told me just to do a better job of installing the wood vise and it would work fine. Took her advice, she was right and did not stick out her tongue. Thanks to those who take time to post their ideas!
