I'd love the own a piece of property along a creek or river, very nice place you have.

After having some coffee I went back in, I was in the Brook just after 9 this morning, I was done with the work in the Brook at 10:15, I have a small job to do for the boss so the pics will come later.

We did pull out one Ash and a Yellow Birch, both are cut up, back here waiting to get split.

We did leave some chit in the Brook because some Ducks (not sure what kind) they were using it for cover, mom was teaching the little ones to swim up the Brook.

The wife was a big help today, once the ducks showed up we called it a day. Is the duck a scaly - sided Merganser?

This was the wood we winch out of the Brook after floating it down the Brook to a different spot, the one on the left is the Ash and the other is the Yellow Birch.

Bet the water was an interesting cool down while working up a sweat. Stream looks great. Every time you clear wood from the stream, it must be very rewarding...

Man! Cut a couple of hours in the summer, your soaking wet anyway, then lay down in that creek! Pretty spot!

We have another area in the Brook that use to flow in behind the island until we had some heavy rains that took out five bridges, it plugged the part I'm talking about, we'll take time next weekend so I can start on that.

The ice storm put a few trees in it too, it looks like my hopes of taking August off from cutting won't happen, it will be Brook work.

Looking good woodlands. Nice pics. Nice work. The weather has been great lately for working. Looks like the rain will be here by noon today. Maybe earlier.

Yes on the rain, I'll make a quick run back in so I can haul out some Yellow Birch I cut a month or so ago.
