We grill a lot year round. I love my Weber and will never go without, however, this pellet grill has been pretty awesome too. I've not used it much yet this summer as the Weber has been busy, but we'll do some low and slow smokin' yet this year.

Here is one of our favorites....cheap and easy Papa Murphys take and bake pizza. I crank the GMG up to 450F, put a pizza stone up on a little elevated grate that I made, and bake for 25 minutes.....rotating the pizza about a quarter turn every 5 minutes to insure even cooking. We do these any time of year as the pellet grill holds temp +/- 1F very well. We do homemade pizzas sometimes too, but the Papa Murphys is so easy and pretty decent.

I got a little confused - I read GMC not GMG.
Brought to mind some grilling that I did in my working days; I think they called it manifold cooking. You would foil wrap your cheese sandwich or potato and stick it between the exhaust manifold and head of the 671 Detroit. Had some really good results but more often would get engrossed with the loading end of things and end up with a burnt offering. :( :grizz:

Pizza on a hot grill works well. I use the Weber try to keep temps 400f+. I saw a thingy on amazon that fits the Weber kettle grill it's called Kettlepizza with a opening to slide pizzas in and out. Looked pretty cool but a bit pricey at $150. IO cook pizza right in the insert also using a cast iron frying pan
