Thoughts and Prayers for those in need

Unfortunately my wife’s parents are not well. Either of them.

Her father, who is 84 now, has had a return of his lung cancer. Treatment has not been able to accomplish much this time and had to be stopped and then restarted. (Was affecting his kidneys bad.) Then stopped for good now. Comfort care (palliative care) to start soon. Hopefully he can go home. They are trying to line up care takers & helpers quickly. Don't know how long he has. No idea there.

Her mother is now 80. Has been having pain constantly. Long story short the doctors in Syracuse think it may be Pancreatic Cancer. Lump near her heart is putting pressure on aorta.? She is waiting on a phone call about going back down for a special endoscopy and biopsy. My wife made one trip down with her and is expecting another soon. She may possibly have surgery soon. Hopefully they can do more for her.

So my wife is going through a stressful/tough time right now.

If you would. Keep Bruce and Judy Harland, and family, in your thoughts and prayers. And Mrs. Gasifier.

Praying a specific prayer for you Mr. Gasifier. That the Lord speaks and moves thru you for Mrs. Gasifier.

A quick prayer for the Harland family would be appreciated.

My father-in-law passed away this morning. His family did a good job by deciding in having the Hospice Nurse come in the other day. She did a great job and he was able to relax and sleep better during in his last 36 hours here.

They use to say something about comes in threes?

I got a text an hour or so later from sibling that said my Aunt had passed near same time this morning. (My Mom’s sister.) She lives in Florida with her daughter. A quick prayer for the Regan family would be appreciated.

We, and they, were fortunate. They both had good, long lives. Father-in-law Bruce was 84. My Aunt Florence was 89.

Good to know your father in law passed peacefully, and at home from what it sounds like. How is your mother in law? Praying for the Harlands and the Regans, may your aunt rest in peace.

 

Yes. He was home. Just like he wanted. With his wife and two of his children around him. We had also brought our children up to see Grandpa and Grandma two days before and had a nice conversation with both of them. Thank you.

Mama is back in the hospital for bad bladder and UTI infection. She had been talking really crazy for a few days.
