Good afternoon everybody. Had just a small shower from Delta yesterday morning. Early this morning we had showers come through. About 60 right now. Coming up on some mid 30s for lows and 40s for high.
Still waiting for tech 3 to call us back.

T.Jeff Veal. The furnace is working fine. Chaz got me a new phone and they can't get it to stay connected to wifi. I am almost guessing I might get a new replacement the way it is looking.

Evening all. Made a quick trip down island and found out when we got back, the power was off. It went off about 1 1/2 hr. after we left. Gennie going, baseball on and the house heat circulator going. I had just brought the propane camp stove up to the kitchen when the power came back on. Nice timing. I will have to remember to pick up some lamp oil for our two lamps. Didn't need them this time but it could be dark next time. We had a wind and rain event go through and that was why we lost power.

I think I'll spend some time splitting red oak. I'm experiencing society over a neare empty wood rack. The wood that had been on it, has been moved to the deck.

We got some nice rains yesterday, more forecasted for Friday /Saturday.

Good morning! I'm sure I'll find something to do outside, once it dries up a bit. I still have bulbs to plant, and oak to split. And more oak coming in tomorrow.
It will be another beautiful day, with temps in the 60's. I'll miss them when they are gone!

Morning all. We are headed over to Mom's to move firewood into the basement IF it stops raining. Mom is able to use her furnace again. Last winter the neighbour kept it running for her but she wants to do it herself as much as possible this winter.

Yes. Chaz was working on it Sunday when they escalated it to tier 3. They were suppose to call us back within 48 hrs. Still nothin.

Good morning everyone! I'll be off to a Craigslist pickup this AM. Never know what to expect. The wood looks like oak in the pics, but may be cherry. If it's cherry, I'll mix it in with the apple I got yesterday- fruit salad!

Morning all. Stay at home today and get chores done. Had just the right amount of time yesterday that was dry enough to move firewood into Mom's basement. Did a few more things for her. I think we get more rain today.
