First fire of the 2020/2021season!

Hey, you know when geese are flying in a v pattern why one side of the v is longer?

 

They're drafting each other. If they are flying straight into the wind then it doesn't matter as the draft aid will be equal on either side. Probably flying with the wind as well.

 

I know. Pick me, pick me!! Lol.


I lit up today, just not inside.


Cleaned up my processing area and ended up replacing some old wood skids with plastic.

 

I know they draft but can't think why one side would be longer unless billb3 's answer is correct. Prithee enlighten me TurboDiesel .

Calling for a low in the mid thirties so it was warranted. Let the fun begin!!

 

I dropped a match on some box elder in the furnace last night...gonna go do it again right now too...

 

I forgot to capture it, but I did fire up the stove yesterday morning. Probably need a warm up when I get home also.

 

First fire of the season today!!! Went from 79 for a high on Friday, to 38 today... Artic air mass coming in with tomorrow's low of 18. Pretty cold for our area this early.
