We are beginning to see some. I want to get a picture of some sweet gums, they are DEEP red, almost purple. There are some nice hardwood ridges around, but mostly pines.

Good Morning everyone! First up, help my husband fill the gas tanks up for the winter, he says it's time. Then, finish splitting the yellow birch I got yesterday. I'm scared of it getting tough, it's really hard to split one it dries out.
After that, work on planting bulbs, cutting back the garden, and weeding. But above all, a couple of scrounging trips to the dump!
We had a nice little grandparents birthday party last evening. Have a fun Saturday everyone!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have SUPER SATURDAY. Got to see what the weather is doing today. Got a little rain last night, might be rough this evening, tonight and tomorrow as Delta moves through.
Our son had a load of dirt delivered, he wants to use the tractor to spread it.

 

We can only hope.

Morning All. We got quite a rain and wind storm yesterday at noon. More rain for today and tomorrow. No gardening for at least a week. The whole coast is in for a river of rain for the next couple of days.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22,23

Good morning everyone! I worked like a did yesterday, I'm ready for a day of rest. I got my yellow birch split and stacked, got 11 bags of pine needles to the dump, and cut up my most recent scrounged wood. Nothing as sweet as the birch, just some sugar maple and more long-dead oak. I never did plant my bulbs, though, Monday for sure.
