Mostly Locust, a little cherry, tomorrow some hickory.
Locust, some of the oldest I have hovering around 21%. Cherry was 18%
Sometime this winter I’ll turn it into a floor.

Maybe I'm a bit of a city slicker, but running that big honkin' saw blade off a tractor has got to be the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. That's going to make an awesome floor too. Keep us posted!

Cord wood flooring. Basically laid like tile, sanded, sealed then grouted.
There are a few people who cut and fit them together Seamless. I don’t think I’m going that extreme.

I hear ya. I’m only doing a 3’x6’ mud floor in front of a door. An entire floor would make me vomit I think.
It’s one of those bucket list things. At one time I wanted to build a barn from it. This will put a nail in that coffin.

If it comes to fruition. The cookies are just one step I needed to do before reducing the rest of the black locust to firewood. A now or never thing :) See how these cookies dry out, flat or potato chips.
