What's the best bang for your buck 372 jug kit out there now? Dad picked up a 365 special with low compression so I told him I'd find a 372 kit to throw on it. Thanks!
Oh man, that closed port 365sp cylinder is a real good one!! Don’t trash it unless you know for 100% sure it is not salvageable.
Yea I've read that here a few times but I won't know how bad it is until I tear into it. Just figured I'd see what the best 372 kit for the money was these days. My other 365sp is still ripping so I'm gonna leave her alone for now.
Maybe just need a new piston and ring? Might be a good idea to break it open and see before buying a potentially unneeded complete top end. Aftermarket seems to never live up to oem when it comes to performance. Plus I’m one of those guys trying like he11 to not support chi-nah.

Don’t use an aftermarket kit for this series. OEM cylinder with a Meteor piston is a good option. OE 50mm top ends are around and are usually fairly priced.
