    When did they update the filter? Can the update be retrofitted to one that don’t have it? That’s my only complaint with mine. I need more information on this!!

    Yes, the new goodies will fit on the original 562 models as i understand.

    I think you need a new top cover though. The larger filter doesn’t fit under the old top cover. But as I understand it from Bob, the new cover fits on the old saw as well

    You had enough people pointing you this way so i didn’t pile on.
    But I think you won’t be disappointed.
    It’s my go to most often and would be even without the extra sausage.

    Stihl 362. Pro model saw 59cc. Ive used Stihl since 1985 and hey have served me well. I own a now obsolete 361 (which evolved into the 362) and love it. Not to knock any other brands, but am unfamiliar with the two you mentioned.

    Got the 562 a couple days ago and set it all up...cut two 75+ ft dead ash trees down...this thing is a beast, way more than i expected....thanks for the advice all, its probably going to be my go to saw from now on...now i gotta get various bar sizes for it

    Awesome to hear. :thumbs: I hope it serves you well for years to come. If I weren’t so stuck on manual adjust carbs, I would have had one long ago. Now the new 572 is calling my name but having 12-13 saws already I just can’t justify it. :faint:
