I'm sure there's a lost soul or two out there that will shell out a hundo for a few rounds. But I don't think you'll find any of those people here on FWC.

Depends on how big a truck it is, and the amount of wood. For a cord of logs or rounds, $100 is not a bad price.

I guess they do. Couple Winters ago i sold a half cord of seasoned splits i had for sale to a new customer who lived right down the street from me. After dropping the load he asked if i ever get green rounds that he'd be interested in buying them at a cheaper price. A year ago Asplundh was going nuts cutting all around my neighborhood and i was having a field day scrounging wood. Ended up more than i could store here so i called him up. Got $90 for a level PU full of rounds/quarters dropped at his place. The house i was cutting from was two driveways up from his!
One of the five loads i sold him. IMG_1125.JPG

I dont normally sell green fresh cut rounds but this situation worked out perfect. He was happy as was i!
A friend who lets me store wood at his place gets "paid" with a cord of rounds for rent. If i ever had a customer who requested this id be glad to accommodate! My "problem" is wood at my disposal. As mostly a scrounger it can be a feast or a famine.

I know. I drove by a place today that had an old pickup bed trailer, junky looking rounds loosely thrown in, not even stacked, wanted $80. Who would buy that?

Wow! No kidding? I think it's about $250 a cord for green in SoVT. I'll have to ask my neighbor as he bought some over the last few months.
