What's your favorite candy maker? What's the best candy in your area of the world?

    America's best candymakers

My all-time favorite candy maker is Southern Candy makers out of New Orleans, Louisiana (in the French Quarter). Their pralines, tortues (turtles), English toffee, peanut brittle and fudge are off the chart delicious! The best of the best!

Enstrom Candy- Toffee makers, Grand Junction, Co.

The best toffee on the planet, and I don't eat much candy.

Have to say, you nailed it. They are amazing. The fudge will kill you, but it is a good way to go! I love the peanut brittle and pralines.

Lindt & Sprungli's US manufacturing facility is in Stratham, NH. Their chocolate is awesome. When I go there for meetings, I will sometimes leave with at least 5lbs of whatever they are giving away at the time, I often will have to refuse half of what they offer me. We used to supply all my other branches with chocolate after our yearly inspection there when we would leave with upwards of 50lbs of different chocolates.

No-where near the quality of the specialty candy shops mentioned so far, but..........

For years, when we made the trips out to Colorado, we would always try to squeeze in a stop at the Russel Stover's factory outlet store in Montrose. Would get some really good killer deals on candy. Anything that had a holiday wrapping (Christmas, Easter) was priced real low.

Yeah, it was all good; never had anything that even came close to tasting old.

    It is closed now. :(

We have a Russell Stover Outlet Store in Corsicana Texas that I make a visit to when I'm in the area. They have a very good selection and quality at reasonable prices.
