    We actually stopped by there last year in May on the way to Dennis's GTG in Michigan. Really enjoyed it, ate lunch (pork chop sammich) at Snappy Lunch.

    I’ve always wanted to get to the Waltons mountain museum. Thanks for all the great photos. I wasn’t aware there was an Andy Griffith museum.

    My Canadian mind read this and thought "that must be some updraft to lift a dollar coin back up to you." Then I realized my mistake when I saw the video you posted. We don't have paper money for one and two dollars and I forgot that you still do.

    Lol...I wouldn't be surprised if some of the strongest winds that blow up that valley wouldn't bring a coin back...I won't sit on the edge if it's blowing hard...

    20 minutes South of Mt Airy on 52 is Pilot Mountain and 20 minutes south of Pilot is where I live.
