Im thinking maybe you could have got more firewood done by yourself. I hope your not waiting on allot of money from the IRS and hopefully tomorrow will go better.

Not at once. But the garage is mainly meant for the truck I don't have yet haha. Yup its a 1.5 story. 15 and 1/2 feet from the ground to the peak of the roof

You could hike the boat up with pulleys for the winter!

Thanks, it's big enough to fit a full size pickup and work on the truck. Or a boat, but not both at once (unless maybe if I strapped the boat to the rafters haha)

I don't mind the boat sitting outside. Have 2 boats anyway. Would like to build another boat though

I had to amend last years return and sent it certified mail with signature required back in early April...just finally got the receipt back the other day! Not sure if this is the IRS's fault, or USPS! :hair:
Vote by mail they say...yeah right.

But you know darn well if you owed them a couple grand and started giving THEM the runaround, "no, I'm not so and so, but his number is...." and playing those games that within a few days you'd have agents pounding on your door, wages garnished, etc. But yeah, let's give the system more responsibilities, and trust that they won't botch those too.

As far as wood splitting goes, just do it the way you always have from today forward, take sis to lunch instead of working.

Got a 1/4" of rain last night. At least it is s slow rain so has time to soak in. Supposed to get more thru the morning, but we'll see.

Lit the boiler yesterday afternoon. Don't really need the heat, but the DHW is nice and I wanted to give it a pre-season test run. Everything worked out great. Will probably light it in the evenings if I am around to make enough hot water for showers and dishes.

Still plugging away little by little on the bathroom. Stupid day job is cutting into my remodeling time.

I was going through old pictures and found this one from 2015. I had taken 2 photos at different times in the car and merged them. One was during the coldest day of the year, then the hottest day. It's incredible to think of the temperature swings that one area can have. EC679ED1-1C64-4241-A0B5-4E4A66F990DF.jpeg
