    My son used to commute from Malden to Cambridge every day, an hour plus. He hasn't ridden the train since Feb., and he doesn't think he will have to ever again.

    Its nuts. Pelham to Weymouth should be 2 hours each way. Its 52-53 minutes every morning, and usually about 1:10 on the way home.

    Send some here. I hate to tell you how dry it is here. My shrubs are wilted and have been for a few weeks. Should get rain Wednesday. half inch or so.

    no chit!!!

    It's better to ask forgiveness than to ask why the house is on fire.

    STEWARDSHIP

    Joseph was a very good steward. Although he didn't own anything in Potiphar's house, he was entrusted with everything in it as manager. Joseph never laid claim to Potiphar's possessions, but he managed Potiphar's affairs well, knowing one day he would be accountable for the results.

    Don't forget that you have been given stewardship over your children, rather than ownership. They belong to God, but He has entrusted you with their care and growth while they are under your care. How might this perspective affect the way you parent?

    Children belong to God, and you are God's steward over them.

    Yesterday I was wishing I still had the A/C in my office window yesterday. Didn't get cool enough that morning to help cool off the house much, so the temps started at 73* inside. By the end of the day it was dang near 80* inside. At least it cooled off last night and with the fans going and windows open all night, it is down to 69* in the house this morning.

    I broke down and closed all the windows and turned the AC back on last night. It was crazy humid and 75 in the house. Thankfully, the weather is going to break after today, and I can open the windows again!

    I’m looking forward to the cool down coming this way. 80° and humid yesterday meant we had the A/Cs running.

    Trying day.
    My sister is in from Alaska wanted to help splitting and stacking. Boy is she a go getter but I believe she has a hearing problem. She works like made and doesn't follow direction. Does everything the hard way. Sis and I got about a 1/4 of a cord split and stacked and then ran out of gas. Done for the day.
    We started to try and figure out where my income tax return is. Still haven't gotten it and it was filed the end of Jan. We did find acknowledgment that they received it. We started calling the numbers on the IRS.govt site web site, but all numbers put you into a loop directing you back to where you already been on the web site. No option for a live person. Finally called the " Make an Appointment" number after 28 minute wait we finally got a live person. That person was starting help us when the line went dead. Called the number back and waited 39 minutes. This lady wouldn't help me. Said it was the "appointment line." "I know, but it is the only line I can get a live person." We bantered back and forth about it being the Appointment line and she gave me the generic IRS number which we had already tried. She then hung up on me.
    IRS :hair::hair::hair::hair::hair::hair::hair::hair::hair::hair::hair::hair::hair:
    The sun will come up tomorrow. Maybe try again in the morning when I am in a better mood.
