    Some of us have that = half-zeimers.
    Like pouring bar oil in the saw gas tank.
    Then driving off with the parking brake on ( until I smell something burning ).
    Filling up the pump but leaving the gas cap on the roof.
    And, starting a climb without clipping the 'biner.
    More....................:headbang::headbang:

    :rofl: :lol:... I do something similar to that almost every day now. My favorite is laying a drawing or instructions on a wrench I need, and then spending 1/2 hour tearing the shop apart to find it... :whistle::picard:

    OK, I will tell my story; I was really embarrassed at the time but now it is comical. One day on my way to visit my sister, I stopped by a shop to get a few personal care items I needed. I got a trolley out of the bin, placed my handbag on the shelf at the handle; the one that also doubles as a child seat, and preceded to shop. I spent a few minutes in the shop but the only thing I managed to find was a bottle of body lotion. Since I only had the one item, I return the trolley to the bin and got in the queue to pay. After standing in the queue for a few minutes it suddenly dawned on me that I didn't have my handbag; I had left it in the trolley. I rushed back over to the trolley bin to only find the trolley empty; someone had stolen my handbag! What was I going to do now? I put the lotion down and rushed out the door to see if I could see anyone with my bag. The carpark was empty; no one was to be seen. Everything was in the handbag, my phone, my keys, everything. I walked back into the shop trying to figure out what I was going to do. At this point other shoppers were starting to stare at me; I am sure they were thinking, "What is up with her?" Then it dawned on me; I was holding my handbag in my hand down at my side. I had been holding the handbag the whole time I was running around in panic. Now my handbag isn't exactly light, I carry a lot of stuff with me; there are even some small tools in my handbag. I quietly picked up the body lotion I had placed on a shelf, got back in the queue, paid and left.

    Forgetting why you got up and are standing in the middle of the kitchen ...
    I'm sure I came in here for a reason.

    Never seems to happen with a bathroom run though ....

    For some after what many have been through in country and out, it gets to be enough just getting out of bed each day.
    After so many "stoopids", I'm surprised to still be around. Luck ?
    Metal shows up at security scans.
    So I had to get on the roof ( 9 pitch ) ...............

    ( P.S. How's the recovery Dennis ? )
