Hickory or Black Locust?

Which ever is easiest to get or the one that is more likely to be gobbled up by someone else

 

cant go crabapple...not easy to split! Besides, i know of no location where some is!

 

Yeah he appears to be on the way to recovery! I don’t think he has even bought a saw in the last week or two.

 

i did stop by the dealer today to check on the status of two saws and the echo rep was there. 15% off any Echo saw. I did look at a Stihl 193cm rear handle.

 

This is the real answer. Especially since we know that Mr HoarderSaw will get both trees in short order

 

Glad you didn't stop by our dealer, he just got another MS500i in stock. He's sold 2 already.

 

I voted hickory, because it will rot way faster than the locust.

 

Are they both easy to get access to? If so maybe flip a coin

My stihl dealer has been having a hard time getting any saws. He says everything is back ordered. He's not a small time dealer either. On another note he had plenty of bar oil. 3 different brands.
