I'm surprised the front end is still on the ground.

I had to weld the frame up last year. There’s two chainsaws, axe, 8# short handle sledge, gas, oil, peavy, straps, shackles, wedges and a bucket full ‘o tools in that front rack. I rigged up some straps for support this year. If ya noticed there’s a couple chunks sittin’ on the splitter.
I almost forgot...a cordless hackzall, too.
    Chaps.

    • This oak carries a lot more weight than ash.

That is what I call maximizing what you have. Some nice stacks of what looked like Ash and some other types of wood in there.

Yup, ash, elm and oak. The oak on this load's from some tops from some logging about five years ago. It's right across the street from the house. The former owner wouldn't allow any cutting. Got a new owner and he said "have at it". Some of its good...some not worth hauling out. The tops are mostly oak and hickory. I'm afraid if I don't get alot of it this year, it's gonna be shot. The stuff on this load is running 16 to 23%.
Funny though. There's some ash and elm underneath the piles that are solid, while the oak on top is punky.

It sure wasn't anything I did.
I did have to take that maple out it's laying on. It was growing crooked and it was gonna take the hit anyway. Saved at least 3 trees doin' that.
