Thanks, but the camper will be fine, for now. I meant that the hose going to camper freezes, it happens every year around this time overnight on cold nights. But it thaws out by 9 or 10 when the sun comes out. We still want to get a couple of more weekends. The camper piping will be blown out by Columbus day.:handshake:

31* here with scattered frost, once again the vehicles are iced over. That's the last three mornings in a row.

50 out there right now. Looks like we start summer again today but at least still in 70's rather than 80's or worse.

38 here this morning, we’ve dodged the frost so far. Still getting cucumbers so I hope it’s awhile yet. No fire yet but we’re running the heat pump for the second morning now.
billb3 I use one raw egg blended into a gallon of water and spray any plants I don’t want deer to eat and it works every time. If I have some I’ll include a cup of hot sauce and that discourages other critters quite well. Need to respray after a rain or about every 10 days. I started trapping chipmunks this spring using sunflower seeds as bait after they started digging holes around the foundation everywhere. Caught a few dozen very quickly.

A pellet gun will take of any varmits, it works for them here. We have, er, had a rabbit problem. We don't grow our food as a hobby, it's to live off of during the winter.

A pellet gun is cute but how do you hit a chipmunk or groundhog on the run ? In my neighborhood they don't stand still.

Practice, you miss some, you hit some. My boy with his scope does a number on them. Actually, most are shot with a .22

My wife's record is over 100 (I think 106) in one summer. Not sure how many this year but so far one today. All with .22

That’s how I got rid of the ground hog. There were just too many chipmunks and I’m not patient enough anymore. I wish I could use a .22 but it’s a little too close to be safe unfortunately. Especially since I cut so many trees down lol.

    It all DEPENDS. Depends.
If you can't pee in all 4 cardinal directions without disturbing a neighbor ( "neighbour" in Canada ) , then you can't door fire anywhere.:D

Got around the mid 40's overnight in coastal CT here. Threw some maple in the new stove and the family loved it.

That’s just one of the reasons why my heart is still much further north and always will be.

We have another 4 or 5 days of temps topping out in the high 70s/low 80s... after that, I'm hoping for those cold nights!

It got down to 50-55 last night and my wife gave me that look. Had to shut her down.

We had a fire sat evening and the last couple mornings. Had some pine and some odd and end cherry pieces in the stove. Not planning on burning next several days as its suppose to be in 80s.
