Well, the latest PM 700 is a runner . Complete tear down ,new gaskets , P&V test , carb rebuild . These have to be some of the sturdiest line of saws built . When I Opened the saw , the impulse passage in the cylinder ,all the way to the carb was full of saw dust . The carb’s impulse chamber was probably 50-75 % full of fines . So the air filter was being bypassed for a Long time . Makes me wonder how much dirt ,wood ,etc , passed through the cylinder . Yet, it looked pretty good given it’s age ,and use .
Accidental dumptique rescue! She’s tired, but not gone. Tune up kit including recoil spring on order, also looks like the previous owner was a bit rough with the master control lever......
Inherited a new addition to the family from my BIL who switched to electric. Ditched the stock 18 for a 14 with a pro chain and she cuts. Also threw a 16” on the 50cc And man say what you want but no disappointments here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I love the square top 1122 series too. I have an absolutely immaculate RL 066 I'm currently totally rebuilding, and I have a very special cylinder coming all the way from Augusta Wisconsin for it....
