But what a beautiful afternoon to be in the woods... This is the top of a maple that broke in the spring about 12 feet up, sometime in the spring. Found it on the ground last weekend. More time cleaning and getting access than actual cutting.
cross the bridge and then that distance again or so. Almost to the south wall. Building another trail about 50 yds north of the wall trail. Less boney, easier hiking and something a can get the atv and trailer through.
It certainly was a great day to be outside and process some btu's. I was committed to inside work all morning.
Always nice to discover downed wood. Was a perfect firewooding day! Some down in mine from Isaias. Wheelbarrow will get it out this Winter.
Me too, this morning. Had to work at work. Really enjoyed the afternoon though. Hope you can get on the other side of the door tomorrow. Looks just as nice.
