Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. We are here in Lynchburg VA, close to Liberty University. Had a safe, uneventful trip up here. We are about 35 miles from Walton Mountian store and house. Be going there this morning. We will probably go over to Appomattox, site where the war was ended. It's a cool 52° this morning here.
    Be encouraging, share a smile.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

Good morning everyone! Ahhh, slept in this morning, it was nice to get up after sunrise.
It will be warm, in the high 70's, which is good, since I'm working on the pool. We've got a hazy sky because of smoke from the west.
My flu shot slowed me down a little yesterday.
    Husband returns late afternoon. JEnqyER.jpg
    Have a good one!

Morning all. Still very smoky and foggy. It lightened up a bit yesterday afternoon as we had wind. It has set back down again.
Got a lot done at work yesterday so I hope I am on a roll. 3 days left.
    Everyone have a great day.

Sorry to hear the flu shot slowed you down. I didn't think that was possible. Lol.
Next week I have to go for my yearly walk so they can renew my o2 script . I will see if I can get it then. That way , I don't have to wait till the end of November for my face to face md visit.
We have been having some hazy days also. Not sure if that's why or not. Normally just get the weather online.

Best to get the shot before the end of November. I heard the end of October at the latest. I feel fine today.

I am sure they won't have any problems. Normally my last md appt is end of Sept early October as November I am in hibernation mode. But covid has really thrown things out the window. I think the docs are you restricted to 2 days a week and those days only 2 patients each day face to face.

Cold front moved thru today and it took a lot of the smokey haze away. Nice blue sky today.

And how much for you, Brandon? Is it keeping you off the lake?

    Good morning .

I'll be unbolting the top of the woodstove today. The chimney gets cleaned tomorrow morning. Removing the top allows for a good clean out, as well as access to the cat to clean it. Forecast for the weekend is for overnight Temps in the 30's.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Don't know, we are in VA right now. Got woke up about 5:00 AM by CodeRed phone call...flash flood alert, heavy rain at home. The center is still in Alabama.

It's cooling on down. Bet the pipe won't have much in it.

Good morning everyone! I did a bunch of stuff yesterday, got the pool covered, weeded up some nuisance saplings, scrounged a log... I think I'll take it easy today. 6CpQ245.gif Have a great day all!

There was about 1/3 cup of soot/fly ash/creosote on the shelf just below the pipe. I'm happy to not see more. I moved the pile aside and will see what falls from the pipe tomorrow morning.

I have the cat soaking in vinegar and distilled water. I'll leave the stove top off, so it can be vacuumed cleaned.

I had some loose gasket. Cemented it back in place. No other surprises.
