CAD strikes again.

Brought my sisters ATV to the dealer for some repair work. Whilst I was there I decided to go in and see what fun stuff they might have for sale.
Had both a 462 and 572 which I’ve been wanting. Picked up both, spun em around a bit. I’m old,,,Imcan feel the weight difference LOL. They even had an E Light bar for it. Wrap it up. Sweeet saw even if it’s the wrong color.

 

WOW another new Stihl on the board! I have that one and you’re gonna love it. How can something so light have so much power?

Congrats!!! Hard to believe my 460 is 17 years old. Enjoy your time together....they grow up so fast!!!

 

Definitely light for its class. Havent sunk it into wood yet. Looking forward to that.

 

Ya I had to have one also. I can't believe how light this thing is. Has a 28 lightweight bar.

 

Amazingly light. Funny thing is right after I said I’d buy it I remembered I wanted a full wrap handle like yours. Oh well, I’m an impulse buyer. It was there, I was there. Maybe I’ll look into getting a full wrap for it.

 

I wasn't gonna buy the 462. I was gonna get a ms250 because I don't have a small saw. But I picked up the 462 and realized hey they aren't lying, this thing is not much heavier than a 60cc saw . I've only cut a few cookies off some 24 ish size rounds I have, I'm very impressed with it so far.

 

Dang CAD!!!Your gonna love it jo191145. It really wakes up after 6-10 tanks of fuel. Unless you are dropping lots of trees I don't think you will need the full wrap handle. They do make the saw look cool though. You will NEED the outer dawg for it. Part # 1142/0501A.

 

LOL I did notice it’s missing a dog. Thanks for the part number. As for the wrap I’ll run it for awhile, see if I miss it. I’ve never had a full wrap so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to tell. Personally I think they become more important if your dropping lumber. Dropping firewood not so much.

From a 361 to a 462 nice jump!

 

Well it’s taking over 28” bar duty from my 372. Put the 24” on that. 372 has had a hard life,,,,before I ever got it. Hard to figure out how well the 372 runs unless you have another saw in that class to compare it to. With that indisputable logic I had no other choice hehehehe. Remember that one Brad, May serve you well in the future.
