Looks great! Your stacks are a work of art. I would hate to tear them down to burn. I tend to end up with yard trees that have very little straight pieces in them plus from tree companies that can't cut to a set length to save their lives.
I could use a back hoe or a mini excavator before snow and a grader and a front end loader the rabbit hole
Fantastic job! That looks great. There's such a sense of pride admiring a stack like that after it's complete. Enjoy.
This I know for sure. Once I achieved the 3 year plan it is very easy to maintain and it is nice always having good dry wood and I do not have to wonder if it is good and dry. Last you will not regret achieving that goal. Good for you.
Something strange happened last night after Horkn's tractor post. When i awoke this morning, i couldn't believe my eyes. Help!!!
Thats a different forum sirbuildalot...THC! Tractor Hoarders Club Good thing you know how to build stuff! EDIT: oops..didnt register with me when i said THC. Ill bet if one googles that, tractors wont be the main topic!
So close I can taste it. Within a whisker hair now!!! I have about 1/3rd of a cord to go. Was able to knock out a cord or so of Pine after work yesterday.
I like the box with the wood in it. I see a small chain on the side can you move it with pallet forks? Do you know what fraction of a cord it holds? Thanks!
That box holds exactly 1/3rd of a cord when level with the top of the box. It does indeed go on my quick attach pallet forks. I also have 3 point fork it can go on. The safety chains connect to the steel forklift frame so I can dump the box without it sliding off the forks.
Someone’s been busy. Some nice work and wood there. May want to stop storing Viagra in the barn tho. Those tractors are getting g a little crazy at night.
Looking back 4 of the tractors came from CT. Stafford Springs, Woodstock, Hampton, and I forget the name of the fourth town. It was off 84 about halfway between Hartford and Tolland
