    A carving that a friend of mine made at a local tree removal guys home residence. He's an amazing carver, this thing was carved into a HUGE sassafras stump.

    was it carved in place or carved then stuck back on the stump?

    My neighbor does some insane hand carving - little people to birds - ducks and even made an Armadillo for the former owner of my house - after he had wrangled one from the pool

    I don't get it, why'd be leave his saw in the stump? Lol.

    Chainsaw carvers amaze me. I mean, I'm doing well to cut & stack straight even rows without cutting off my leg. Other dudes are carving artistic chit... Aliens I say.
