    I had a chimney company out today for a quote. They looked over all the Class A parts I have and gave thumbs up. We agreed on the exit point in the roof to meet clearances and I will get the ceiling support box set for them and one more piece of chimney pipe to meet roof clearance at the peak. They have been very prompt on my initial call and the crew that stopped by today was good to deal with. I have the quote already and will ok it. I just have to send info to insurance company and fill out building permit. Maybe 4 weeks out we will have lift off. Lots to do in between, but I'll make it happen.:yes:

    You had a heat way down there Horkn The highest it got in La Crosse today was 51. I believe it set a record for the coldest high temp for the date. The old record was set back in the early 1900's

    Yeah. Not warm at all. Good news is that it was well above the temps that our tropical plants are good down to.
    Lake Michigan being 3 miles away helps in this regard.

    We had a great anniversary day. Thanks for all the we'll wishes.

    Started out the day with a BIG breakfast at the cottage 0909200759.jpg Then we drove 30 miles over to see the boyhood home/museum of Hank Williams Sr. 0909201047.jpg 0909201103.jpg 0909201051a.jpg 0909201103a.jpg 0909201206_HDR.jpg We only had the cottage for 1 night, so I had rented her daughter's big lake house, It will be great to come back with more family to this house.
    I had one more surprise for my hunny. We had a sunset picnic cruise on their boat. Her husband cameover and took us out. 0909201844a_HDR.jpg 5528.jpeg 5530.jpeg 0909201856.jpg 0909201945.jpg We went up to the head of the lake, has short cypress trees growing in the lake. We slowly cruised back to the dock under the stars. She was very surprised and happy
