Got in a little after six. Traffic not too bad. Have to load my pics and will follow up. Great to see everyone again and couldnt have asked for nicer day. Ms. buZZsaw enjoyed meeting everyone too.
WeldrDave can't post from his phone when he's in Winchester, but he asked me to thank everyone that came out and worked today. He really appreciates it!
Heres my pics. We were first there. Pleasant chill to the air. Kept adding to his fire. Dave, Chrissy and Ms. buZZsaw. Logs and tops the logger still has to come for. Lots of brush. Sign made the trip. Mwalsh9152 steak tips going on More random pics tried to zoom and edit the group pic but couldnt.
The brush was a nightmare to untangle. Random limbs in all directions and run over by the skidder to make it worse. I was brushsaw BRAD today! Id love to watch them burn! Still a lot there to clean up.
Nice job hoarders! Sorry I missed you! For those that don't know, Wednesday afternoon, Maple was vomiting, and has a fair amount of blood in her stools. She was dehydrated from the diarrhea and the timing couldn't be worse! She's on the mend, keeping fingers crossed this passes and isn't something worse!
Well Seasoned hope Maple gets back to normal soon! Great picture of the crew, looks like WeldrDave is the only one partaking in cocktails!
I didn't take many pictures (that is Molly's job ). In random order MikeInMa was kind enough to dig up a couple of Rose of Sharons and gift them to me. One even has flower buds on it! These are 5-6' tall. They got moved a couple of times to keep them shaded and they made it to my house unwilted, A couple of stacks of limbs - I think there were 6-7 stacks when we called it quits.
Looking good WeldrDave wish I could have gone this weekend. Prior commitments from like 25 years ago said no. I have no idea why I keep her around. We are heading home in a couple hours and I’m gonna get her to start moving wood in with me.
Hi Gang, We decided to drive home yesterday afternoon, with traffic and time we got in very late. My back and knees was/were killing me from "tent life" and tub baths from well water were getting old and cold! I was supposed to have a guy come out in the morning yesterday to give me a price on stumping, he was a "no show" so we called it then. "Thank you all"!!! Who showed up and helped pile brush it was an enormous help. As you all can see there is still lots more to do but sooner or later it'll get there. The pictures are fabulous and all who took them, Thank you! Great memories here and a good pictorial for future reference. This is an easy say; Great friends and "family" here in the FHC world where at one time, total strangers become great friends through a common interest, it just can't get much better! For those of you who know what I'm saying here, I just want to leave the uninvited "pigs" out of the picture next time! Thank you all again!!!
